Getting to the Staging Area
The Staging Area is located at the Waskehegan Staging Area 'Stadium' of the Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area (also the finish for all races). There is no parking here or on Range Road 210. Free shuttle bus service is provided from Bethel Transit Station in Sherwood Park (shown here on the Venues Map) to the Stadium Area continuously from 8 am to 5:30 pm.
8:45 a.m* Leave Edmonton to drive to Bethel Transit Station (Broadview Rd., Sherwood Park)
9:05 a.m. Arrive at Bethel Transit Station – follow directions of Parking Marshals
9:15 a.m. Bus to Start /Finish area
9:45 a.m. Arrive Waskehegan Stadium and wax skis
10:00 a.m. Festival Tent for coffee/hot chocolate
10:30 a.m. Drop off tagged clothing bag at Clothing Tent in Stadium (note: bring your own bag)
10:35 a.m. Walk to Start Line on field – plan on up to 10 minutes to walk – longer with little people
10:50 a.m. Hop around to warm up. Fast rabbits at the front, turtles and pulks at the back please
10:55 a.m. Official Program at Start Line
11:00 a.m. Start of Ole’s Tour – you decide 2.5 km or 4 km distance at the start line or the junction.
No times at Finish Line.

Getting to the Start Line – Ole’s Tour
Access to the start is behind the Festival Tent, past the picnic shelter to the "Short Starts" in big field (please see Stadium map)
What are the routes for Ole’s Tour 2.5 or 4 km?
Loop course starts from field east of the Waskehegan Stadium out to Neon Lake and back. Course is mostly gentle hills and flat. Choose your distance at the start line or as late as the split on the course to go 2.5 km or 4 km

How do I get back to my vehicle after I finish?
A free shuttle bus service runs from the finish line (at the Stadium) back to vehicles at Bethel Transit Station parking lot. Runs continuously all day until 5:30 pm.
Spectators or family wanting to pick up finishers
There is no parking at Waskehegan Staging Area or on Range Road 210. Spectators must park at the Bethel Transit Station in Sherwood Park (shown here on the Venues Map), and take a free shuttle bus to and from the finish line.
