- ENTER you and your friend’s name in the field provided.

The Fine Print
- Participation in this Contest is voluntary.
- Contest closes January 30, 2024 at midnight MST.
- No purchase is required to be part of this Contest. If you are not registered for the 2024 Canadian Birkie, email your name, address including your postal code, city, province, email address and contact phone number to marketing@canadianbirkie.com to enter. Also answer the skill testing question: “(10 x 2) + 4”
- Each winner receives a pair of vouchers valued at up to $110 each ($220 total) to be used for the registration of two people at a Birkie Saturday Distance race in the 2025 Canadian Birkie taking place on February 8th, 2025. The vouchers can be redeemed for any of the 2025 Birkie ski races.
- Prize vouchers can only be used for one distance event of the 2025 Canadian Birkie. There is no refund or cash provided for any unused part of the voucher due to the lower value of races that are shorter than 55 km.
- Prizes vouchers cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by the Winner.
- Prize vouchers cannot be used for Canadian Birkie Merchandise shop and Viking Feast.
- Prize vouchers cannot be transferred to a subsequent year and can only be used for one registration.
- This Contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec. Due to government contest regulations participants of Quebec are not eligible to win. Entries under the age of majority require written a parental consent if chosen as one of the Winners. However, you can still bring a friend to the Birkie as the more the merrier!
- There are three Prizes to be drawn. Volunteers of the Canadian Birkebeiner Society will select the prize winners.
- First prize drawn on November 30, 2023, Winners announced December 1st, 2023.
- Second prize drawn on December 31, 2023. Winners announced January 1st, 2024.
- Third prize drawn on January 31st, 2024. Winners announced February 1st, 2024.
- The Canadian Birkebeiner Society staff, volunteers and board members are not eligible to win prizes.
- The Canadian Birkebeiner Society will contact the Prize winner through the contact phone number or email address provided during registration or email entry. If it is not possible within a seventy-two (72) hour period to contact the Prize winner despite customary efforts, the Canadian Birkebeiner Society reserves the right to disqualify that Entry and randomly select another Entry for that Prize winner. In the event that a Winner is ineligible, disqualified, does not claim the Prize, is un-contactable for any reason and/or deemed to have forfeited all rights to the Prize, The Canadian Birkebeiner Society at its sole discretion may decide if a replacement Winner should be selected.
- Selected Entrants will be required, as a condition of winning a prize, to correctly answer, a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by email.
- Contest participants and organizers acknowledge the contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook and Instagram from Meta or X.
- Only one prize awarded per person. One prize consists of two vouchers valued up to $110 each for a total of up to $220 to use towards the 2025 Birkie race. All Entries have an equal chance of winning for the respective draws they are entered into. Chances of winning are dependent on how many Entries are received into the Contest
- · Winners will be announced on the Canadian Birkie Facebook Group and Instagram within three business days of each draw and reaching the Winner.
- The Canadian Birkebeiner Society can update the conditions of the Contest at any time.
- By entering the Contest, all Contestants agree to be bound by the rules of the Contest and release the Canadian Birkebeiner Society and all parties associated with the Contest from any liability with respect to this Contest or any prize.
- The personal information collected as part of this contest is collected under the authority of Section 33 (c) of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act and will be protected under Part 2 of that Act. It will be used for the purpose of administration of the Contest, and if the participant opts in for the Canadian Birkebeiner newsletter.
